Photos found in a snow cave on Mount Hood are raising concerns about two men still missing on the Oregon peak.
Authorities say the photos were taken by climber Kelly James, who was found dead Sunday, a week after he and two friends went missing.
After seeing from the photos just what gear the men had with them, Sheriff Joe Wampler says he's "pretty concerned" about how long they could last on the snowy summit. He says two planes will be flying over the mountain today, and checking for any sign of the missing men. If the two climbers had dug a cave for protection against the storms, he says this is their chance to stick out their heads and "rescue themselves."
Wampler says "you can last a long time" in a hole. But he adds that if the missing men weren't able to dig a cave, it might be too late for them.
