"We really saw a need for an evening farmer's market because a lot of people aren't able to attend the ones in the morning because they are working," says Erin Regrutto, marketing director for the riverwalk.

Have you ever wanted to buy fresh produce but just never had the time to stop at a morning farmers market? Well, now you can have your cake and eat it to, figuratively speaking that is. Every Thursday evening, from June 25 through August 20, the farmers market on the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk will be open to the public from 4:00 to 8:00. The market returns for a second year with 12 vendors selling everything from produce to fresh milk, even poultry. Live musical entertainment and the natural beauty of the riverwalk are other incentives to attend.
"We really saw a need for an evening farmer's market because a lot of people aren't able to attend the ones in the morning because they are working," says Erin Regrutto, marketing director for the riverwalk.
Musso Farms, a family farm located just outside pueblo, is just one of a dozen vendors. They say, it's a great chance to serve the community they live in.
"I take a lot of pride in what i do and i like for other people to share it with me," says Rocky Musso, a fourth generation farmer.
The market is free to attend, but don't be surprised if you end up spending a little money and walking away with some home grown products.
