Wouldn't it be nice to win a 50-thousand dollar, three carat diamond solitaire ring? One Fountain woman has won just that.
Christina Johnson entered to win the shiny ring several weeks ago at the Chapel Hills Mall in Colorado Springs, but when Samuel's Jewelry called to tell her she was their lucky winner she didn't believe them. So she got their information, made several phone calls to confirm it and sure enough, it was no joke, it was the real deal.
The contest was a nationwide contest where 16-thousand people entered at 132 stores across the country.
"Just sign up, put your name in and I'm proof that you can actually win a giveaway with no obligation no purchases necessary," Johnson said.
We asked Johnson what her plans were for her new white gold diamond ring and she said for now she'll be keeping it and wearing it often.

I hope you now have good insurance on that thing, honey, because (as much as I hate to think it) now that everyone knows your name and where you're from, a few "not-so-desirables" could just come a-calling! Best of luck and wear it well! Congrats!
I work at this Samuel's. Could not be there due to a pre-planned trip, but congrats to the winner! :)
Congratulations Christina! I'm so jealous. The diamond is beautiful.
