The judge in the Kobe Bryant case says all remaining legal questions in the case will be decided this Thursday. Eagle County Judge Frederick Gannett says he plans to issue his decisions by then. That will give attorneys time to appeal to the state Supreme Court if necessary.

The remaining questions include whether the woman accusing Bryant of rape will testify at next week's preliminary hearing. That hearing will determine if Bryant stands trial.

The 25-year-old Bryant was charged with felony sexual assault after the woman said he raped her June 30th at the mountain resort where she worked and he was a guest. The Los Angeles Lakers guard says the two had consensual sex. Bryant is free on $25,000 dollars bond.

A bodybuilder charged with offering to kill the woman who accused Kobe Bryant of rape will not be arraigned until next week.

Patrick Graber, age 31, was charged last week with solicitation of murder and solicitation to dissuade a witness. Graber's arraignment was scheduled to take place on Monday, but was postponed until October 6th.

His defense attorney says he hasn't received the prosecution's evidence yet. Graber was arrested September 18th after Bryant's security personnel told authorities they'd received a letter from someone
offering to solve Bryant's problems. In it, Graber asked for $3 million to murder the woman accusing Bryant of rape.

Bryant faces an October 9th hearing to determine whether he
will be tried for felony sexual assault.

Judge Gannett has pleaded guilty to speeding. He admitted he was speeding on Interstate 70 through Glenwood Canyon west of Eagle last April.

The original citation by the State Patrol says the 50-year-old
Gannett was driving 80 miles per hour---well above the 50 mile per
hour limit.

Gannett admitted he was driving 10 to 19 miles per hour over
the limit. The judge was ordered to pay a $50 fine and $30 in court costs.
