Three residents of an assisted living center in Clifton are being cited on drug charges after allegedly being spotted smoking marijuana.
Authorities say the manager of the Peachtree Assisted Living Facility called Mesa County sheriff's officials after smelling pot smoke inside the center.
Lieutenant Jim Fogg says none of the three claimed to be using marijuana for medicinal purposes, and reportedly told deputies they just wanted to get high.
Officers cited the men for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana, then confiscated the drugs.
The names and ages of the men have NOT been released.
