Teachers in Pueblo's School District 60 will head to work without contracts this morning.
More than 700 teachers met last night in Pueblo as their union brought them up to date on their contract negotiations.
The teachers did not take a vote on whether or not to strike.
According to Education Association President Carol Partin, teachers will be at work on time today despite the fact that their contracts expired at midnight.
The teachers and the district plan to get back together to continue negotiations in the next few days.
