A Colorado Springs man accused of shooting at officers and ramming police cars is facing attempted first-degree murder charges.
Twenty-eight-year-old Andrew Ryan Young faces 33 counts including attempted murder, assault on a peace officer, criminal trespass, vehicle theft and possession of a controlled substance.
Prosecutors allege Young stole a car from an ex-girlfriend in Boulder on November 11th and drove to Grand Junction -- where he was stopped for a traffic violation two days later.
He is accused of pointing a gun at a police officer and speeding off.
Authorities say he rammed three unmarked patrol cars at a roadblock and fired at an officer.
Young is being held on 800-thousand-dollar bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 5th.
