Richard Paul White was arrested last week on suspicion of
killing his co-worker Jason Reichardt of Aurora.
After his arrest, he told police he had killed five women and
dumped their bodies, including two in Otero County.
Searchers have been looking near the North La Junta bridge for
one body.
But Otero County Undersheriff Ken Kimsey says the riverbed has
had water flowing this year. He says a body could have washed down
the Arkansas River all the way to Kansas.
Deputies are waiting to receive dogs that can detect human scent
underwater before continuing their search for a body.
