Kobe Bryant Case

More is now known about the kind of evidence prosecutors plan to present during Kobe Bryant's preliminary hearing next month.

The information was included in a legal filing opposing a push by Bryant's lawyers to get his alleged victim to testify.

In a court brief released Wednesday, District Attorney Mark Hurlbert says he will present a videotape of the woman's statement to investigators and photographs of her injuries. He also says he'll offer an electronically enhanced version of Bryant's interview.

Hurlbert says the 19-year-old woman's statement was corroborated by the NBA superstar's statement.

Bryant is accused of sexually assaulting the woman June 30 at the hotel where she worked near Edwards. A judge will decide at an Oct. 9 hearing whether there is enough evidence to put Bryant on trial.
