A September 2nd memo obtained by The Associated Press shows
there's only about six-thousand dollars left in the fund.
It suggests that the lawyer representing the Republicans in the
redistricting case be asked to work for free until a solution is
found.
Lawyer Richard Westfall wouldn't comment on the memo because he
says he needs to talk to G-O-P members first.
Democratic Attorney General Ken Salazar has sued to stop the
redistricting plan, saying the state constitution only allows
districts to be redrawn once a decade.
