Gov. Bill Owens says he is getting lots of calls of support after announcing that he and his wife are entering a trial separation. Owens, on a radio program Monday, said he and Frances are trying to work through the separation.
Owens also told listeners he rejects quotas and supports efforts to increase the number of conservative professors on college campuses.
Owens emphasized his Catholic roots, but made no mention of the split with his wife during a speech earlier Monday at a convention for the Polish National Alliance.
