The judge in the Kobe Bryant sexual assault case says no still or video cameras will be allowed in his courtroom during Bryant's Oct. 9 preliminary hearing. Court TV, The Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News had requested permission for cameras in the courtroom during the hearing to determine whether there is enough evidence to hold Bryant for trial.

Eagle County Judge Frederick Gannett cited the Colorado Code of Judicial Conduct which bars cameras in the courtroom during pretrial hearings in criminal cases except for advisements and arraignments.
