They were just a little longer than a dollar bill when they were born premature in February of 1991.

18 years later, the Baker quadruplets are getting ready to graduate from high school.

Justina, Nathaniel, Laura and Walker Baker are seniors at Air Academy High School in Colorado Springs.

"I can't believe it's almost here," said Laura Baker, one of the quadruplets. "I'm really excited. I'm just surprised how fast the time has gone by."

The Bakers have sent out nearly 400 graduation announcements.

Martha and Walt Baker have tried to track down all of their kids former teachers and as many of the people who helped the family when they brought the quadruplets home from the hospital.

"This is the next greatest milestone," said Martha Baker.

All four teenagers have plans to go to college. Two are going to Brigham Young University. One is going to Brigham Young University - Idaho, and the other Utah State.

Air Academy High School graduation is on Friday, May 22.

I'm very glad to hear about this once again! Mrs. Baker was my 3rd grade teacher at Rockrimmon Elementary in D-20 back in 1987, and I remember hearing of the story right here on KKTV when they were all born! I am proud to know that they all have a wonderful mother and a great family to support them over the years, and that they all are going to college to excel in their studies! Mrs. Baker, I'm not sure if you will read this, but it has been 22 years since you were my teacher, but thank you for being a wonderful teacher back then, and I'm proud to have called you one of my favorites after all these years! I wish you and your entire family all the best in the years to come! I think it's only fitting that their graduation day is on my 30th birthday, and I am proud that this wonderful family has been so blessed!

Your story on the Baker Quads was GREAT, I have known them all for several years now. Spending time with them at their home, school and church. I love them all! I am so excited to see them graduate from High School and go on to college. I will miss them all. Thanks for running the story on them.
