I graduated with Daniel as well. He was a good person, and whatever mistakes he may have made, he wasn't deserving of such an early death. I will miss him. And my prayers go out to his family and friends who must surely feel this loss more than I ever could.

I was on scene and gave first aid to Daniel along with 4 other people until Peyton FD arrived. AMR was on scene soon after and they did all they could. Peyton FD, AMR, and flight for life worked very hard to save him but his injuries were too severe. My prayers go out to Daniel's friends & family.

I can assure you, drugs and alcohol were NOT involved. Daniel was a straight arrow who, unfortunately, did race his bike. His father, Doug, is on his way back to Colorado, as I type this. Please remember them in your prayers.

Grammatical errors don't matter. I graduated with Daniel and he was too young to have his life taken away, his death is what matters. He was a good kid who deserved a long and happy life.

This is such a tragedy. He was too young to die. To Ben and Bev: While it is true that grammatical errors are nothing short of frustrating, especially coming from a news reporting site, it seems a bit unnecessary to make such a huge deal about it on a story about a young man who's life was taken from him far to early.

Please run spell check and/or proofread your articles before posting. The kind of mistakes above are simply amateurish.
