Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Joey Porter was injured early Sunday morning in a shooting outside a Denver tavern that left one man dead and another four others injured.
The man who was killed has been identified as 28 year old Christopher
Wilford.
Police say they don't know of any motive for the shooting and haven't made any arrests. But, they say they believe Porter was an innocent
bystander.
Porter previously played for the Colorado State University Rams and was in town for their game against the University of Colorado
Saturday night.
The bullet hit Porter in the buttocks and lodged in his thigh.
Steelers coach Bill Cowher says the team won't place Porter on
injured reserve, which would keep him out for the entire season.
