Springs Episcopalians React

They confirmed their first openly gay bishop and, now, officials with the Episcopal Church feel the effect in Colorado Springs.

The controversial confirmation of Reverend Gene Robinson earlier this month doesn't sit well with parishioners at Grace and Saint Stephen's Church ... Colorado's largest Episcopal church.

The rector says donations to the diocese will be cut by about 115 thousand dollars total this year and next because parishioners are requesting the money not be passed on.

Churches usually send 10 percent of their donations to their dioceses.

Parishioners are also protesting the blessing of same-sex unions.
