The investigation into an alleged fight involving two Pueblo County Sheriff Deputies continues.
The fight is said to have occured in a Pueblo West bar on the night of May 2.
They've been put on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
The Sheriff's Office isn't saying much. But, the owner of Tumbleweed Tavern in Pueblo West tells 11 News there was a fight at his bar involving two deputies on May 2.
The owner says the deputies were sitting around having some drinks with friends when there was a disturbance between the two men.
He says no punches were thrown. Friends separated the two and forced them to leave.
The deputies were off duty when the alleged incident occurred.
The Sheriff's Office says they were not acting in a professional manner. The case is now being reviewed.
"It's an internal investigation unless they decide to pursue charges. If charges are pursued, we'd be more than happy to release more information. But at this time, it's a personnel issue," said Laurie Kilpatrick with the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office.
Since it is a personnel issue, the names of the deputies have not been released.

Well imagine that, Pueblo Sheriff's Department has 2 more deputies on paid leave, wasting more money with their "investigation". It is evident they are trying to fry these guys over an incident which should be open and shut! Does the Sheriff's Department WASTE this much time on every investigation, or just when they try to fry their own. Is this something personal against the Deputies involved?

It's amazing how these two are being convicted of anything before the investigation is complete. I know people who saw this event and these two did NOTHING wrong. Even according to the bar staff on duty that night. What a shame to ruin two careers.

Be real! There are alot worse things happening in Pueblo County. Does not the Sheriff or any of his command staff drink? What about any of the other Law Enforcement Officers in Pueblo County, or anywhere else for that matter? If you want to report something about Pueblo County, or any of it's employees, find something someone actually cares about. Was the fight at the Tumbleweed that happened 2 weeks ago newsworthy? No, that happened between citizens. Just who are the Deputies in Pueblo County? Aren't they citizens also?
