Rain & snow showers are expected to continue, mainly along the I-25 corridor, throughout the evening and overnight hours. Accumulations are expected, though minor areas such as Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Moisture looks to move out of the area by the morning commute, though roads may be slick/wet. State health officials say the three counties hardest hit by the West Nile virus will receive more than half the money the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention gave Colorado to combat the virus.
Boulder, Larimer and Weld counties will each receive $85,000 from the $500,000 given to the state.
As of Monday, Boulder County reported 87 human West Nile cases, Larimer County reported 110 and Weld County reported 133 cases.
State health officials reported 699 human cases in Colorado, including eight deaths.
