After a mild Saturday, temperatures to finish the weekend will be MUCH colder! A system to our west pushes into SE Colorado overnight. Snow showers will be possible by early Sunday morning across the I-25 corridor with a change to rain and snow showers through the afternoon. Accumulation should be minimal as most moisture looks to be light and temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and 40s through the afternoon, though areas in higher elevations could see 1-2". The fire broke out in the hills of Larimer County near the town of Masonville. It is being called the Buckhorn Creek Fire.
Winds gusting anywhere from 45 to 60 miles an hour are blowing the flames into the trees. As of 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, 125 acres have burned and homes are being threatened.
Some residents in the area have been evacuated.
Authorities believe somebody in a silver SUV may have started the fire. They are looking for the vehicle
