A key court ruling in the Kobe Bryant case.

A Colorado judge says the arrest warrant in the basketball star's sexual assault case should be released to the public, but he's giving lawyers 10 days to appeal.

The documents have been sealed since the Los Angeles Lakers player was arrested last month. But news organizations called on Eagle County Judge Frederick Gannett to unseal them.

The judge says the arrest warrant and related materials should be unsealed, but that other items media attorneys want will be kept under wraps. Those items include the search warrant and other documents that could provide details of the case.

A 19-year-old hotel worker accuses Bryant of sexually assaulting her at a Colorado resort in late June. Bryant has said the woman consented to sex.
