Roads are icy in spots that saw accumulating snow yesterday. Allow yourself plenty of extra time this morning and dress warmly, as wind chills are in the single digits and teens for many. A second disturbance will bring another round of snow showers to the Front Range this afternoon and early evening. In Crime Stoppers, El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputies are looking for a bank robber. The robbery happened just after 9 a.m. Monday morning, at the School District Three Federal Credit Union on Widefield Boulevard.
The robber had a handgun, and forced employees to the floor. He took both money from the bank, and jewelry from an employee.
A surveillance photo shows he was wearing a ski mask, a heavy black coat and black shoes. The suspect is white, five feet nine inches tall and weighs about 210 pounds.
