One suspect is under arrest as authorities from several jurisdictions work an apparent case of road rage along a busy state highway.
It happened sometime after 8:00 a.m., when one or more occupants of a westbound vehicle allegedly shot out at least one window of another vehicle.
Two people were in that car at the time. One was seriously hurt.
The search for suspects led to a temporary lockdown of four grade schools in the area, and Douglas County investigators closed two right lanes of westbound C-470, limiting traffic to just one lane.
A weapon said to be involved in the incident has been recovered.
There's no word on a specific motive, nor the extent of injuries.
