Colorado Springs city workers are ready for winter. They've put together a snow removal plan.
Once the precipatation level reaches 20%, the city sends snow patrols out on the streets.
Colorado Springs has 36 routes, which is about a third of the city's roads.
Road crews don't use sand on the roads.
They'll use magnesium chloride this year. This is the same stuff the state uses on roads across Colorado.
