Snow showers continue this evening creating slick road conditions across southern Colorado. Overnight the N Pikes Peak Region sees a second push of moisture and locally heavy snowfall will once again be possible. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for far northern El Paso County where ~4" are possible by Tuesday morning. Also ahead, a High Wind Warning for much of southeast Colorado from 4-11am Tuesday morning as wind gusts could reach up to 60 mph. On Tuesday, Colorado voters will decide a few key issues. Several local questions and school races are also on the ballots.
State Elections Director Bill Compton predicted overall voter turnout at 30 percent to 40 percent---about average. But as of last week, El Paso County Election officials said they were disappointed in the early voting turnout, and predicted a lower-than-average number of voters on election day.
