A California judge says she'll consider a motion to dismiss child pornography charges against John Mark Karr, the former suspect in the JonBenet Ramsey slaying.
Karr's plans to ask Superior Court Judge Cerena Wong on Wednesday to dismiss five misdemeanor charges in the 2001 case. That comes after word that investigators in Sonoma County have lost the computer that allegedly held the illicit images.
Officials believe the computer was trashed along with other evidence when the sheriff's department moved to a new building in 2002. Prosecutors do have printouts of 16-hundred photographs from the computer, including the five suspect images.
Wong criticized a prosecutor for not telling her that the computer was lost even though she has known about it since August 30th
