After a mild Saturday, temperatures to finish the weekend will be MUCH colder! A system to our west pushes into SE Colorado overnight. Snow showers will be possible by early Sunday morning across the I-25 corridor with a change to rain and snow showers through the afternoon. Accumulation should be minimal as most moisture looks to be light and temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and 40s through the afternoon. Agriculture Department officials say the nearly-195-thousand
pounds of beef products being recalled may be contaminated with
Howard Beef Processors of Pipestone, Minnesota, sold the meat
bearing the establishment code ``E-S-T. 8934'' under the name
Ellison Farms. The meat was sold to supermarkets and through
door-to-door sales nationwide.
The meat was processed sometime between May 30th and June
Consumers who have the recalled meat are asked to return it to
the store where they purchased it.
E.Coli can cause severe diarrhea and dehydration, and is fatal
in some cases.
