Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
An 8-year-old Stetson Hills girl is recovering at Memorial Hospital after being badly bitten by 3-dogs.
This happened just about 3 p.m., Monday on Galeta Road . The El Paso County Humane Society is investigating the attack.
The 8 year old was celebrating her upcoming birthday at an outdoor celebration. The Humane Society says a neighbor's dogs, wandered over on the girl's property and attacked her. She was biten on the back of her head, shoulder's and legs.
Her mother also had several bite wounds trying to pull 2-American Bull Dogs and Miniature Doberman Pinscher off of her daughter.
The dog's owner helped get the dogs into a cage after the attack and willingly surrendered them to the Humane Society.
