The commission approved changes to the county budget today that
include an extra 150-thousand dollars. District Attorney Mark
Hurlbert can tap the extra money if needed to help pay expenses
related to Bryant's prosecution.

County finance director Mike Roeper says Hurlbert asked
for 105-thousand dollars, but Roeper decided to provide a cushion
for Hurlbert's office and for the sheriff's department.

Roeper says three other counties in the Fifth Judicial District
may be asked to contribute extra money.

Bryant is accused of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old Eagle
woman. He's scheduled to appear in court August Sixth.
