The parents of Danny Rohrbough, Kelly Fleming, Kyle Velasquez,
Matthew Kechter, and Lauren Townsend are suing the gunmen's
parents. They argue the parents knew or should have known their
children were planning an attack.
Klebold and Harris killed 12 students, a teacher and themselves
on April 20th, 1999, at the Jefferson County high school.
The families of other victims have settled lawsuits against the
Harrises and Klebolds and against the sheriff's department and
school district.
Randy Brown's son complained before the massacre that Harris had
made death threats. Brown says he hopes the lawsuit will enable the
victims' families to understand why the tragedy happened.
