The Lamar mother suspected of drowning her 2 young children will now be charged in their deaths.
Lamar police say 32 year-old Rebekah Amaya will be charged with 2 counts of 1st degree murder.
She is suspcted of drowning 5 month-old Gabriel Amaya and his half-sister 4 year-old Grace Headlee in the family's bathtub Thursday afternoon.
They were discovered by Rebekah's husband Leo Amaya when he returned from work.
The mother was also found in the bedroom unconscious with slashed wrists after she tried to commit suicide.
She was taken to Memorial Hospital.
Police say she is being taken to Prowers County Jail where she will be held without bond.
