Great White Tour

By: Associated Press
Updated: Tue 7:53 PM, Jul 22, 2003

The tour starts at the Logan County Fairgrounds in Sterling. The
group will also play at The Gardens in Colorado Springs

Tour proceeds will go to The Station Family Fund. It helps fire
survivors and victims' families pay for things like mortgages and
groceries.

Some survivors have criticized the tour. But lead singer Jack
Russell says it's the only way the band knows how to help.

The tour will include about 40 cities, but will not visit Rhode
Island.

The band's pyrotechnics were blamed for sparking a February
blaze that killed 100 people and injured nearly 200 others.

A criminal investigation is pending.
