A busy Springs intersection is back open after a four-vehicle crash clogged the area for about two hours.
Crews had to clean oil off the road after a semi-truck, a van, a truck and fourth vehicle collided at Platte and Murray Friday morning. The crash shut down westbound Platte.
The vehicles involved sustained major damage, but fortunately no one involved was seriously injured.
The call came in just before 8:50 a.m. Friday. Police and fire both responded to the scene; the van's engine was smoking and there were concerns it could start a vehicle fire.
The road was reopen just after 11 a.m.
