Colorado Springs Police have a suspect in the city's most recent homicide.
This afternoon, authorities served 33 year old Mark Richard Edie with a warrant. He's facing charges of first degree murder in connection with the death of 46 year old Carlos Foster. He was found dead in the crawl space of a home on Rockwood Avenue last week.
The El Paso County Coroner's Office says Foster died of blunt force trauma and multiple stab wounds. Authorities are still unsure exactly how long he had been dead.
Edie was served with a warrant Saturday while at the Criminal Justice Center, on unrelated charges
Investigators say the motive for Foster's murder appears to have been narcotics related.
