Roads are icy in spots that saw accumulating snow yesterday. Allow yourself plenty of extra time this morning and dress warmly, as wind chills are in the single digits and teens for many. A second disturbance will bring another round of snow showers to the Front Range this afternoon and early evening. While not as heavy as yesterday, some additional light accumulations over the higher terrain will be possible, including Teller and Northern El Paso Counties. Highs in the 30s and 40s will feel colder when factoring a blustery northwest wind. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
One toddler is lucky to be alive after falling from a third story window Tuesday night.
It happened at an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Chestnut.
The three-year-old fell 16 feet from a window.
Lt. James Eddy from the Colorado Springs Fire Department says the child was very lucky.
"It was a witness fall. They said the child was unconscious. When AMS arrived, the child was conscious again."
The three-year-old got away with only scrapes and bruises and was taken to a local hospital to be checked out.
Three adults were in the apartment when he fell and are being questioned.
