Last month, three of the famous Starr Kempf sculptures were taken down from their Broadmoor home because of a federal court ruling. That force the late Starr Kempf's grandson to come up with a new home for the art.

Now, the three sculptures are at a wind festival in Traditions, New Mexico. They will stay there at least through the summer, while the Kempf family works to find a permanent home for them.

Joshua Kempf says several organizations have expressed interest in owning the steel artwork. He says he's had at least 50 inquiries so far.

Starr Enterprises hope to see the sculptures in a place like Confluence Park, Colorado College, CU the Springs, the Fine Arts Center or the Pioneer's Museum.

Joshua says the sculptures will most likely be divided among several sites. That, he says is because of the cost of taking all of the sculptures at once.

Three more of the sculptures will soon be removed from the Kempf home.
