A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Areas under these bands will see periods of heavy snowfall which, with windy conditions, could create travel difficulties. U.S. Senator Wayne Allard says the new report on the sex assault scandal at the Air Force Academy is incomplete.
Allard says that although the report contains some good recommendations, it failed to lay out why and how the problems occurred in the first place.
A victims' advocate also criticized the Air Force investigation.
Kate Summers of the Miles Foundation in Newtown Connecticut says that many cadets who were assaulted never talked to Air Forc
investigators because they never felt safe doing so.
Brigadier General Johnny Weida, the school's acting superintendent, promises that all cadets reporting assaults will be granted amnesty from now on.
