Snow will continue to wind down from northwest to southeast tonight, and should be mainly out of the state by Saturday morning. Heaviest snow overnight will favor areas to the south and southwest of Pueblo. Mountain locations will likely see over a foot. Watch out for icy roads, and take it slow if you have to travel.
Firefighters say the Campbell Fire is about 75% contained as of Saturday afternoon.
The blaze, which is located near Guffey in Park County, has been burning since Tuesday, July 8th. Authorities believe it was started by a ligthening strike. It has burned 300 acres, all on private land.
Several structures have reportedly been threatened, but so far, the fire has not caused any major damage.
Fire officials say they expect to have the fire completely contained by Sunday night.
So far, the cost of fighting the fire is an estimated $385,000.
