Third Term?

Colorado Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell says it's the ``wrong time to go home.''

The 70-year-old Republican lawmaker told the Rocky Mountain News
that's because of the nation's battle against terrorism, as well as
the country's economic woes.

It was Campbell's most definitive statement yet about whether
he'll seek a third term next year.

An official announcement won't happen for months. But Campbell
has repeatedly dismissed rumors that he might retire.

Campbell says if a person was going to quit, it should happen
when things are going smoothly and America is not facing so many
problems.

Campbell also says fund raising should soon leave him with one million dollars in the bank.
