Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
Six Fort Carson soldiers have been injured in an attack on their convoy west of Baghdad, Iraq.
A military spokesperson in Iraq tells us that the soldiers are with the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. At this time, no names or specific unit information is available. Fort Carson officials cannot comment on the extent of the injuries or the soldiers involved.
The spokesperson in Iraq says the soldiers were travelling in a two-vehicle convoy near Ramadi, when some sort of remote-controlled device exploded.
The injured soldiers were taken to a hospital for treatment.
