The Pioneers Museum in downtown Colorado Springs had to close its doors Tuesday morning. The reason: The air conditioning unit is broken.

Museum staffers tell us, it could be 4 to 6 weeks before it's repaired.

In the meantime, the museum will have limited hours.

  • On July 2nd and 3rd, it will be open from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
  • It will be closed on the 4th of july.
  • It will open again on July 5th between 10 a.m. and 12 noon.
