The United States and France have reached agreement on a UN Security Council resolution aimed at ending the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah.
That word from US Ambassador John Bolton, who says it's likely to be adopted in the next couple of days.
The full, 15-nation Security Council is expected to meet later today to discuss it.
Officials with knowledge of the document say the draft calls for a "full cessation" of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah, but doesn't call for an "immediate cessation of violence." And they say it would allow Israel the right to launch strikes if attacked by Hezbollah.
