Prosecutors have charged a 17-year-old Pueblo teen as an adult in the shooting death of a friend's mother.
On Friday, the same day a funeral was held for 30-year-old Barbara Alcon, Frankie Montoya was charged with first-degree murder.
Montoya is accused of shooting Alcon at her home last Saturday. He is being held without bail with his next court appearance set for Monday.
Witness reports said Montoya and Alcon argued before he pulled a gun. Witnesses said Alcon dared him to shoot her.
