DENVER (AP) -- The first lady says there are about six-thousand children in Colorado with one or both of their parents serving in war zones.
Mrs. Bush was in Denver today to meet with teachers, educators and family service groups as part of a program she helped sponsor called Helping America's Youth, a program to identify resources for youths who are at risk.
The first lady says efforts to help military families are vital to helping youth.
