In 2005 there were 440 Robbereis in Colorado Springs. At the beginning of August there are already a reported 346 robberies, and police believe we'll easily pass last year's total.
Two more banks were robbed Friday in Colorado Springs, happening within two hours of eachother. Both robberies were caught on tape, and police say the two men look similar.
The suspects are both described as white males, in their late forties. Both wore glasses, and are around five feet eight inches tall, weighing between 170 to 190 pounds. According to police, the only difference between the suspects is they wore different clothing.
The first robbery happened just after 10:00am Friday, at the Chase Bank at 7190 North Academy.
The second robbery was around Noon on Friday at U.S. Bank at 3525 Hartsel Drive.
