Pueblo police say a teenager has been shot near the intersection of 9th and Amarillo.

Police say the teen was shot after two groups of people reportedly exchanged words in a neighborhood.

They say it happened around 9 tonight.

Five rounds were reportedly shot; one of those hit a teen in the hand.

The victim has been transported to Parkview Medical Center. Police are actively searching for the suspects.
