22-year-old Ashley Johnson's life was cut short last Thursday when she was caught in the explosion at the Branch Inn.

Now one week later, hundreds of family and friends gather at the George McCarthy Historic Chapel to remember her.

Each have their special memory.

"I can still see her standing on the porch and her blonde hair in the light. I can still see it. It was really pretty, a memory that I have that I can hold on to," says Ashley's friend Desiree.

Some friends here say they will always remember Ashley as being the responsible one.

"Ashley was always the one who said you can't do this, you can't do that. She was mom," says Nikki Hernandez, Ashley's friend.

Her friends from Centennial High school say she had a lot of potential in life, and would have gone far.

"She was a good student all through out school. I mean she always did her work and studied," says her friend, Derek.

It was a life taken too soon, but a life that touched everyone around her.

"Ashley, you were such a good person. Everybody loved you, and we are always going to remember you," says Stephanie Trout, friend.
