Your cable bill may look a little different the next time it arrives in the mail. Comcasts purchase of Adelphia transfers nearly five million subscribers to the nation's top two cable T-V operators.
The 17 billion dollar deal ends Adelphia's cable operations, once the fifth largest in the country, but Adelphia says its nearly 13-thousand employees will be transferring to Philadelphia-based Comcast and Time Warner Cable.
Comcast and Time Warner will also swap cable systems to consolidate their market positions.
