The search continues for a missing 20-year-old Monument man who was last seen on the campus of Northwestern University in Illinois.
Trevor Boehm was last seen Wednesday, November 5 on Northwestern’s Evanston campus. Officials began searching for Boehm when his parents went to visit him at school and he was nowhere to be found.
Officials then realized Trevor had not attended classes or used his school ID card for days.
Then on Thursday, after more than a week of searching, authorities found Trevor's jacket, which contains Trevor’s Northwestern identification card, keys, cell phone and other personal property among the rocks on the shore of Lake Michigan on Northwestern’s Evanston campus.
The coast guard searched the lake by boat and the scene by helicopter Thursday but called off the search after hours and no leads.
That night, Trevor's sister held a press conference to speak on behalf of their family, tearfully saying they are hopeful Trevor will be found alive.
On Friday, Chicago Police Department's dive team continue to search Lake Michigan for any sign of Trevor.
