I-25 is back open after a semi-truck rollover accident near the Woodmen exit.
The accident happened just before 2 o'clock this morning when a semi truck hit the median, lost control and rolled over just south of the Woodmen exit.
It took several hours to clear the highway after the accident.
Colorado Springs Fire Officials say electronic voting machines were inside the truck and were worried about it spilling out when they turned the truck back over.
"When the truck rolled over, it caused a lot of damage to the actual container and as a result we're worried about flipping it over, it's just going to split open like a can of tuna," said Lieutenant Gary Reading.
The 34-year-old driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police say excessive speed was to blame for the accident and the driver was cited for wreckless driving.
