A Monument man who is attending Northwestern University in Illinois has now been missing for a week.

20-year-old Trevor Boehm is a native of southern Colorado, his family lives in Monument. He's attending college at Northwestern University right outside Chicago. But six weeks into the school year, he is the subject of a search, after disappearing last Wednesday.

Trevor spent his high school years at The Colorado Springs School. He graduated from CSS in 2007.

It's been seven days since anyone has heard from Trevor. Northwestern University Police say he hasn't been to his dorm room and he hasn't used his school ID card in the dining hall. He's disappeared they say without a trace, but his friends still can't believe it.

"I was shocked, Trevor doesn't seem like the sort of person that would drop off the face of the earth," said Tyler Boschert, he went to high school with Trevor and they both attended Northwestern.

"He's a very outgoing guy, very social and he always had a lot of friends," said Boschert.

"I remember him as being a really fun guy, really good to hang out with, he was really into theatre, a great actor," said Laura Johnson, also a high school friend. She says they are all just praying for good news.

According to reports out of Chicago, Trevor's parents reported him missing on Sunday. They had reportedly gone to Northwestern for parents weekend, when they showed up, Trevor was no where to be found.

"Maybe something stressful happened that he felt he couldn't deal with," Boschert said.
